| Shared Note: - "Sweitzer Dan", fifth son of Samuel Diehl, was born soon after the family moved from Loudon County, Virginia to Bedford County, PA. He married Margaret Whetstone and settled in a timbered valley in the Blue Knob region along Bob's Creek in Blair County, PA. Daniel known as Sweitzer Dan, lived in the Blue Knob region along Bob's creek in Blair Co. PA He was baptised April 13, 1785 in New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Lovettsville, Loudoun Co. Va. Buried in Mt. Sinai Cemetery near Blue Knob. From "Early Church Records of Loudoun Va." , page 194, indicates that Daniel was born 17/Feb/1785 in Va. of Samuel Thell and Margareth.
